Founder of Kent Eriksen Cycles. His youthful enthusiasm, years of experience, tireless attitude and dedication are unsurpassed. He manages to maintain his reputation of working a 19 hour day and racing his bike in the summer and xc skis in the winter, staying on top of the podium in most of the event he enters. He’s always staying busy with projects on his house but also works at the shop cutting, mitering, jigging and aligning frames.
Brad joined Eriksen Cycles in the Fall, 2012 and is now the current owner. No stranger to the industry, Kent and Brad were former colleagues while Eriksen was at the helm at Moots Cycles. Brad’s signature welds are just the tip of the iceberg to his talent pool: His scientific approach to creating, designing and to the manufacture of frames is a welcome addition. He brings a genuine enjoyment of the business and his enthusiastic demeanor is contagious. Brad’s years of experience and worldwide reputation make him a distinct addition to the company.
Kyle is the director of operations here at the shop. He is a recent transplant from the Midwest, a graduate of the University of Minnesota and a fast paced, well researched bike part genius. He handles customer service and will help you with all your bike part needs. He splits his time between the shop and office completing frame finish work, seatpost production and frame packing as well as advising clients on bike components, build desings and ordering up all the parts we put on our finished frames. He keeps things running smoothly at the shop!
Simon is the “shop dog”. He is Kyle’s charge, but we all tell him what to do… and he, in turn, herds us into position each day. Simon adds a new element to the shop, as well as keeps us protected from all the delivery men. HINT: Carry treats when you visit!
Katie doubles as business partner and wife to Kent. Running the business operations she performs accounting, sales, advertising and marketing. Katie is also critical in research and development. She puts every frame and bike component to the test, logging many miles both on and off road. If you have a question about a component, she has an opinion!
